:faint: Over a weeks worth of work, and I`m actually VERY happy with the results. Why, you ask? Well it started as a simple sketch in history class, I used only ONE reference, and that was for how to shade clouds, and also that this is my first real attempt at anthro and anything human anatomy related. You guys will definately be seeing more anthro art from me! This was a BLAST! And this guy may be a new character for me. For working over a week, I`ve grown attached to him. I had to tweak the contrast to get it to how it`s supposed to look, but other than that, no digital editing. My scanner loves to kill things...

Not bad at all! I would suggest you (again) to try the gray paper here. On another hand, some elements of this image would need to get more definition. Adding a rim light on those objects (Like the arrows or the main character, for example). To do it, you would need to dwonscale the luminosity (This is why I suggest you to try the gray peper). Except that, continue, your on the good way! ;-)

Thanks! Grey paper? Like drawing paper? Hmm...not sure where I can get that, how do you highlight it?

Well, for the grey paper, most of the art shop should have some. Here, in Quebec, we have Deserres ([link]). You can use a letramax board, for example. You can also use a whight illustration with grey gesso, etc. Just go in a general art shop and ask for gray drawing paper, I'm pretty sure the'll find something. For the highlight, just use some hight quality colored pencil. (Not the one you see in paperwork shops. Something like the prismacolor PREMIER : [link] )

You can buy a big box of 128 colors or buy just one color. Just use the white colored pencill and you'll be in business! ;-) Doew it help you?
